THE BLUE SKY
(BASED ON "FINAL FANTASY")

I wrote "The Blue Sky" for National Novel Writing Month (NaNoWriMo) 2007. The aim of NaNoWriMo is to write a 50,000 word novel in a month - no easy task! For more details on NaNoWriMo visit their website at www.nanowrimo.org
Whilst I did fall behind mid-way through the month, I eventually finished with over 1,000 words extra, and a day to spare. I have since done a quick rewrite of my novel, and am now presenting it here.
The reason why I'm posting it on my website rather than trying to get it published properly is that I "borrowed" a few too many copyrighted elements from "Final Fantasy" (although I did give them back unharmed afterwards!). However, please don't let that colour your reading of the novel. Whilst it does read as a typical "Final Fantasy" story, there is still plenty of me in there.
(N.B. There are no Chocobos or Moogles in it - sorry about that!)
Finally, I would like to request that all of my readers remember, at all times, that the novel that follows is a work of fiction.
